Kanya Middle School (Kanya M.S.) Golghar Park was established in 1976 and is managed by the Department of Education. The school is located in an urban area of Patnasadar Urban block, Patna district, Bihar, and has been dedicated exclusively to the education of girls for several decades.

Under the Dosti Kitabon Se campaign, Shail-Satya Foundation established an SSF Library at Kanya M.S. Golghar Park to strengthen girls’ education through access to books.
This library provides students with storybooks and age-appropriate reading material that encourage imagination, confidence, and independent thinking. For girls, especially during their formative years, access to books plays a powerful role in shaping self-belief and long-term aspirations.
